Experience

Professor David Zaretsky is an innovative and visionary entrepreneurial executive with over 20 years of experience in leadership, strategy, marketing, sales, operations, product development, and consulting. He is the CEO and Chief Scientist of Snips Media, a social media management and monetization platform for influencers. David developed the company's vision, technology, proprietary advertisement targeting platform, and real-time analytics engine, and manages business development, sales, and strategic partnerships. 

At Northwestern University, David serves as the Assistant Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, where he teaches high-performance computing applications for SoC FPGAs and courses at the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, focusing on the intersection between hardware (IoT), software (AI), data (analytics), and business (entrepreneurship). He also advises students and collaborates with faculty on developing commercial products and launching companies. 

David is also an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University’s College of Computing & Digital Media, where he teaches graduate-level classes in computer science and programming. 

Now, Professor David Zaretsky is developing a new AI Innovation Lab course with our close partner Northwestern Master of Science in Law (MSL) Program for the MSL students.
