Experience

Professor Mohammed A. Alam leads educational and research initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence at Northwestern University, where he serves as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Computer Science Department and Deputy Director of the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) Program. He brings extensive professional experience from his previous roles as a Senior Data Scientist at XSELL Technologies and a Project Manager/Senior Software Engineer at Motorola Mobility, Inc.

Mohammed’s interests include computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, and software engineering. He leverages his industry experience to provide practical and advanced knowledge to his students, preparing them for the evolving demands of the tech industry.
